Razer, the Japanese gaming company known for the PlayStation 4, will launch a new PlayStation VR headset in 2017, the company announced Thursday.
The new VR headset will cost $399 and be available in both white and black.
The PSVR headset, which was announced in September 2016, launched last month and is priced at $499.
Both headsets will have an optical tracking system that will track users’ head position and orientation, but they will also allow users to move around the room in a virtual fashion.
“We will not only be launching a new headset for PSVR, but also the PlayStation VR Pro,” a representative for the company said.
“The PSVR Pro is a complete VR platform that will give users the ability to experience the world around them as well as take control of their own experiences.
It will provide more immersive VR experiences with more freedom to the user.”
