A wireless headphone adapter that works with PC hardware may soon become a reality.
TechCrunch reports that a group of manufacturers has announced plans to release their own Bluetooth-enabled headphones that support USB Type-C, and that they will be available this fall for $40.
This will be the first time that the device is officially available for purchase.
That said, the announcement has been met with excitement from users, who are hopeful that the headset will be able to connect to their PC via a USB Type C cable.
While there are currently no official announcements from the makers of the headsets, the device’s creators have already shared a few videos of its design.
