A cheap, yet incredibly powerful VR headset can be had for a very reasonable price.
It’s the Jawbone UP3 and it has the same hardware as its pricier brother, the Jawbreaker.
However, the UP3 also has some pretty nifty features like a built-in camera, an ambient light sensor, a built in accelerometer and a headphone jack.
The UP3 is currently available for pre-order and is expected to launch later this year.
This review is based on a pre-production unit we bought from Amazon for £179.99, which includes a pair of headphones and an HDMI cable.
The camera has been moved to the rear of the headset, which makes the camera view much more realistic.
It also makes the UP 3 much more useful for tracking your movements in VR, as you can see in the video above.
The Jawbreaker is also a cheaper headset but has a built on camera, which means you’ll have to buy a separate headset for tracking purposes.
Both headsets come with two AAA batteries, which can last for up to five hours of VR play.
The price of both headsets are currently set at £199.99.
However you can get a pair for a little more, which are now on sale for £189.99 on Amazon.
You can also buy a standalone UP3 for around £200, but it’s probably not the best choice for gamers looking to spend more on a gaming headset.
